Puma Cell
In 1998, PUMA created PUMA CELL Technology and launched it along with a futuristic commercial full of 90’s tropes. Fast-forward 20 years later, we were tasked with helping the iconic brand celebrate the relaunch of a new and improved version of the sneaker at Hypefest in Brooklyn, which extended with events in Detroit and London.
The Idea - Take the original Puma Cell commercial from 1998, bring it to life in the real world, and turn it into an exclusive experience for sneaker heads in 2018.
We invited legendary sneaker unboxer Brad Hall to the party, where he tour the space, unboxed, and designed his own Puma Cell.
To remind the audience of the origin of Puma Cell, the original commercial aired during the event and on social. And if you haven’t seen it, it’s a must watch.
